250g walnuts or pistachios.
6 water glasses of sugar, 4 water glasses of water and 4-5 drops of lemon juice are boiled together until the mixture has thickened. Pour the entire sherbet on the warm kadaifi that you have baked. Cover the tray with a cover or a tray and let it sit for 1 hour before serving.
Spread a pack of kadaifi on a tray. Melt 250g margarine. Pour the melted margarine on the kadaifi.
Rub the margarine on the kadaifi so that each shred is covered in it. Divide the kadaifi into two halves.
Put one half of the kadaifi on the oven tray and spread it evenly. Spread 250g crushed walnut or pistachio on the first half until both the kadaifi and the filling are of the same height. Put the second half of the kadaifi on the walnut or pistachio that you have spread making sure all layers are of the same height. Press tightly the kadaifi layers with your hands.
Bake it for 20-25 minutes at 200°C.
